PRESS RELEASE

m.Care Recognized in Kansas City Business Journal as #21 in Fast 50 List of Fastest-Growing Small Businesses in KC

Leawood, Kansas (August 7, 2020) – m.Care, the leading telehealth and remote patient engagement software platform, announced today its recognition in the Kansas City Business Journal as the 21st fastest growing small business in the annual Fast 50 List of Fastest-Growing Small Businesses in KC.

“We were very pleased to see the recognition of m.Care in the Kansas City Business Journal. It is a reflection of the hard work of the m.Care team, and the power of the m.Care platform that is providing real solutions and improving outcomes for thousands of patients across the country each day,” said m.care President Steve Hendrix.

To qualify for the recognition, businesses must have at least one million dollars in revenue and register the highest average revenue growth rate from 2017 to 2019.

m.Care spent much of the second quarter of 2020 onboarding new clients, with an increase in activity associated with COVID-19. m.Care launched both Coronavirus and Back-to-Work applets in the spring to address the quickly changing telehealth environment and needs. m.Care recently launched its 60th applet for its platform. Applets provide the flexibility and versatility that differentiates the m.Care from other platforms.

“We are experiencing a consistent growth period that indicates the adoption of sophisticated telehealth technology is becoming more and more mainstream for both care providers and the end user,” Hendrix said.

“Our approach to telehealth is to always create the exact solution that each organization needs to deliver its very best care. It is what sets m.Care apart.”

m.Care was competitively selected to power the world’s first virtual hospital, Mercy Virtual in St. Louis, in 2014. Since then, m.Care has worked with hospitals, hospital systems, and many healthcare organizations to provide remote patient monitoring, remote patient engagement, and predictive AI to provide improved outcomes and cost savings for their clients.

m.Care is a wholly owned subsidiary of LifeScience Technologies, LLC,  based in Leawood, Kansas.
